Ethel Ann Lowe

Ethel was born in Concord, Tennessee and spent her teenage years in Lancaster, Pennsylvania within the Mennonite community. She loved working in the yard with her flowers and garden. She retired after 40 years of service with the University of Tennessee MTAS. She was a member of Ball Camp Baptist Church and enjoyed attending services and fellowshiping with her many church friends.

Ethel was a wonderful woman, wife, mother, and grandmama and will be greatly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Maribel Lethgo; husband, Lawson W. Lowe "Jr"; grandson, Lawson A. Lowe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Shirley Lethgo and John and Pat Lethgo.

Ethel is survived by her children, Mark Lowe and wife Jane and daughter, Debbie Lowe; grandchild, Emily Ann Lowe, who was the joy of her life; special niece, Harriet Miller; special friend, Armintha Loveday; as well as many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 1:00pm - 2:30pm at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932, with a funeral service immediately following at 2:30pm. Interment will take place following the funeral service at 3:00pm in Berry Highland West Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations should be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Ball Camp Baptist Church.
