

TALLMAN, ETHEL ELIZABETH BALLARD- Born in Knoxville in 1929, passed away April 21, 2010 at Mercy Residential Hospice. Member of West Haven Baptist Church and a devout follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. Preceded in death by son, Dan Tallman, sisters; Thelma Lively, and Betty Hanley, mother and step-father Alice and Rufus Novell. Survived by husband of 61 years Edward Tallman, son; Michael Tallman (Sandra), daughter; Judy Loveday (Marty), six grandchildren; Kim Buffington (Tony), Kristy Tallman, Chris Tallman(Amanda), Alex, Brett, and Brent Loveday, five great-grandchildren, devoted and special friend, Doris Grubb. Thank you to Mercy Residential Hospice in Halls for their loving care. Special thanks to all our friends and family for your support during this time. Visitation will be 4-6 pm Sunday in Weaver’s chapel with service to follow at 6 pm. Rev. Geoff Prows and Rev. Ron McConnell officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Monday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for an 11 am interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to West Haven Baptist Church.
