Eva Elliott

ELLIOTT, EVA WILDER- age 99 passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. She was of the Baptist faith. Eva graduated from Union College, Barbourville, Kentucky and taught school for 44 years in Bell County, Kentucky, and in the state of Illinois. She is preceded in death by husband Birchell Thomas (Tom) Elliott; parents Milton and Lillie Mae Wilder; stepfather Howard McGeorge; brother Hubert Wilder; sister Ada Smith and husband John Smith; niece Dorothy Smith Bowman; half brothers John Knute McGeorge and Howard McGeorge, Jr. She is survived by brother and wife Ray and Christine Wilder, Memphis, TN; half sister Mae Le Marr, Gray, KY; and several niece and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Helping Hands Agency for providing compassionate and loving caregivers for Eva over the last several years. The family is very grateful to J.C. Bowman for serving as Power of Attorney for Eva. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smokey Mountain Home Health and Hospice, Inc. P.O. Family and friends will meet Monday, November 28, 2011, 12:15pm at Rest Haven Cemetery, Loyall, KY for a 12:30pm graveside service with Rev. Mark Kitts officiating.
