She was the cornerstone of the family. Retired from Hess’s Shoe Department after 30 plus years and worked for Miller Department Store. She was known for her cakes and family dinners.
She was a longtime member at West Haven Baptist Church.
Loved birds and gardening in her flowers.
Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Herbert C. Huffine; parents, Jess, and Thelma Richesin; siblings, Bernice Brackett, Cleason Richesin, and Geraldine Richesin.
Survived by daughter, Karen and Greg Bledsoe, Neal Huffine, 5 grandchildren, Carmen (Vince) Stevens, Aaron (Jessica) and Adam Bledsoe, Melissa Gray, and Adrienne (Justin) Mitchell; 9 great-grandchildren, Kaylie Huffine, Peyton and Bella Stevens, Emma and Eric Bledsoe, Derek Harrison, Abby and Ava Mitchell, Liam, and Wesley Bledsoe; great- great- grandchildren Sophia Grace, Evelyn Rose and Elliot Clayton; siblings, Duane Richsein and Wilton Richesin, many special friends, C.D. Carl and Rhonda Hampshire.
Family and friends will gather at Weaver Funeral Home Tuesday for a 5-7 receiving of friends. Family and friends will meet on Thursday at 1:45 pm for a 2pm interment at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Service will be officiated by Bucky Kerr.
