Silver, Evelyn E., age 99, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2012. She was a member of Island Home Baptist Church. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Fulton A. Silver. She is survived by her daughters, Joleen Hill and husband, Allen Hill; and Gayle Turpin and husband, Rev. Charles B. Turpin; grandchildren: John Aiken, Steve Hill, and Brad Hill; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Clark and husband, Frank; sisters-in-law, Marie Reece and Maude King. Family and friends will meet on Friday, December 28th at 12:00 Noon at Woodlawn Cemetery for graveside services, Rev. Charles B. Turpin officiating.
