13, 2011. She was the longest survivor of five offspring of Will and Ethel Newman. She was a charter member of Ridgeway Baptist Church in South Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Houk Berrier; brother, Raymond Newman; sisters, Ida Thomas, Cleo Jones, and Georgia Monday. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery at 10:00 am Saturday for graveside services, Rev. Ken Lacey officiating.
