Frances Rosetta Hodges

Frances Rosetta Hodges, age 68, of Knoxville passed away at home January 27, 2020. She was born in Sevierville and lived the first half of her life on the family farm in the Boyd's Creek community. She was a caregiver to her parents and later, a special sister. She also worked as a caregiver and then for the Kroger Co. from which she retired after several years.

Frances lived a simple life and took joy in family, friends, and nature. She loved animals especially, her cats. She is preceded in death by parents Charles Edmund Hodges and Cleo Newman Hodges of Boyd's Creek; brother in law, Roger F. Cureton; several siblings; nieces and nephews.

Frances leaves behind her sister, Martha Joyce Cureton; nieces, Tammy Cureton, Laurie Grooms; great niece, Britney Grooms and special friends, Jackie Walker and Teresa Long, all of Knoxville.

A Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Sunday, February 2, 2020, 5:00-7:00 PM with a service to follow officiated by Rev. Rocky Glenn. Friends and Family will meet at 10:45am - Monday, February 3, 2020 at Boyd's Creek Cemetery, 1262 Jim Fain Rd., Sevierville, TN 37876 for an 11:00 AM Graveside Service officiated by Rev. Rocky Glenn.
