Frances was born on April 6, 1936, in Corryton, Tennessee to Ethel and Ralph Parrott. She lived in the Karns community for the majority of her life and was a proud graduate of Karns High School. Frances was an amazing baker and made many students smile with the treats she provided during her 20 year career in the cafeterias of Knox County Schools.
Frances never knew a stranger and quickly became “Momma, Granny, Mamaw, or GT” to everyone she met. She loved her family, her friends, and traveling and never turned down an opportunity to create memories. Whether cruising with the Rocky Top Cruisers, or taking a last minute trip to an amusement park or a casino, she enjoyed spending time with those she loved. When she wasn’t traveling, you would find her watching sports and cheering on her Vols.
Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Bobby G. Terrell Sr.; her parents, Ethel and Ralph Parrott; daughter, Baby Margaret Terrell, sons in law: Leroy Cox, Charles Austin, and Freddy Miraglia; great granddaughter, Jordyn Stout; brothers, James Parrott and William Parrott Jr.; sister, Margaret Grodeman; and brother in law, Alvis Adams.
Frances is survived by her beloved children, Gerry Cox, Terri Austin, Kathy Campbell (John), Karen Miraglia, Bobby Terrell, Jr. (Zoe) and Sharon Terrell (Sheila); eleven grandchildren and their spouses; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; loving sister, Barbara Adams; sister in law, Carol Parrott, and several nieces and nephews.
