SWEAT, Frank D., age 68, passed away July 29, 2015 at Physician’s Regional Medical Center. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, William and Lillie Sweat; loving first wife, Cathy Sweat; brothers, Bill Sweat and Benny Sweat. Survived by wife of 19 years, Wanda Archer Sweat; daughters, Kristy (Kenny) Houser, Cyndi (Eddie) Sharpe, Amanda (Stephen) Vittatoe; son, Jody Sweat; step-son, Carl Atkins, all of Knoxville; brother, Jerry Sweat; sisters, Carolyn (Charles) Wallace, Opal Sweat, Ann (Wayne) Bates; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends on August 1, 2015 at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. at Eastview Memorial Gardens on August 2, 2015 for a 1:00 p.m. interment.
