Fred Washington Chadwick Jr., of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, after several years battling cancer. He was of Baptist faith, a 61-year Mason Shekinah #524, and Scottish Rite and proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. Fred was employed and retired from Robertshaw Controls after 58 years. He was an avid sports fan, and dearly loved his Tennessee Vols. Fred is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years Hazel Elise Chadwick and daughter Linda Diane Wilkerson. He is survived by his wife Nancy Chadwick; forever remembered by his sons Brian (Rhonda) Chadwick, Rick (Connie) Chadwick, and Vick (Tammy) Chadwick; stepchildren Charlie (Mary) King and Christy (Joey) Fields; grandchildren Kailey Ryan, Kamry Johnson, Scott, Dixon, Travis, Lance and Kevin Chadwick, Amber Evans, Kristie Sweet, Heather Palmer and Eric Stott; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other family members and lifelong friends. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10am-10:30am at Berry Highland South with a funeral service to follow, officiated by Rev. Connie Mack (Cotton) Kelly. Family and friends will gather for Military Honors and interment at Berry Highland South at 11am.
