Fred Thomas Williams, age 86, of Knoxville, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Fred was owner and operator of Knoxville Cleaners and was a doting father and grandfather. He was a faithful member of Way of the Cross Church and he loved his church and his church family. Fred supported missionaries around the world.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Gail Williams; brother, Hobert "Hoby" and wife Kathy Williams; children, Randy and wife Pat Williams; daughter, Toni Smart; son, Gene and wife Mayoli Lindsey; daughter, Karen and husband Philip Webb; grandchildren, Carrie, Jenny, Lori, Sarah, Allen, Jasmine, Andy and his little buddy Ariston. 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Way of the Cross Church.
2932 Whittle Springs Road, Knoxville with a funeral service to follow at 7 PM. Brother Scott Carroll officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home 1pm Friday, February 11, 2022 and proceed to Mount Olive Cemetery for 2 PM graveside service.
