Freddie "Frog" Lynn Hancock

Freddie "Frog" Lynn Hancock, age 77, of Seymour, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Freddie was a loyal employee of Rock-Tenn for over 40 years. He was the "Best Boss" and a very special man. He was extremely kind and a very easy going person. He enjoyed life and making others happy, but most of all he loved his family. He was truly a great man and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Freddie was preceded in death by his loving wife, Libby Hancock; parents, Fred and Julia Hancock; son, Hal Whaley; brothers, Eulis Hancock, Ronnie Hancock and Burl Hancock.

He is survived by his son, Rob (Kathy) Whaley; daughter, Lisa Whaley Lane; grandchildren, Tyler Ayers, Summer Whaley, Rosalie Lane and Chloe Dunlap; great grandchildren, Nixon Ayers, Luna Ayers and Ryland Whaley; bothers, Joe Hancock and Leroy Hancock; and best friend, Lonnie Pratt.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with the funeral service immediately following at 7pm, in the Magnolia Chapel, at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, 9010 E.Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920.

Family and friends will gather Friday, September 27, 2024 at 10:45am in the Garden of Peace, at Berry Highland South for an 11:00am graveside service.
