Frederick Barry Milligan

Frederick Barry "Barney" Milligan, age 65, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at his home. He was a member of Redemption Harvest Church of God, served in the U.S. Army in Korea, was a supporter of many charities, loved children, and was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was preceded in death by parents, Jim and Evelyn Milligan; sisters, Debra Lovette, Mildred Ownby, and Shirly Proctor; and brothers, James Milligan, Jr. and Terry Michael Milligan. Survivors include siblings, Margaret Fuller, Rebecca Milligan, Freda Pope, Eddie (Mary) Milligan, and Teresa (Donnie) King; brother-in-law, Alan Lovette; special niece, Vickey Jones; special nephew, Joe Proctor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00pm, Rev. Rebecca Milligan officiating. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 10:45am for the interment service to begin at 11:00am at Berry Highland South Memorial Gardens.
