Gary Dixon

Gary S. Dixon, an avid Vol fan, died peacefully at home on Sunday, June 28, 2015. Born On October 25, 1945. Gary loved to travel and was a loving husband, friend, and father. He lived each day to the fullest and will be remembered and loved by each life he touched. Preceded in death by his father, Sherman Dixon and brothers, Ronald Dixon, Kenneth Dixon, and Paul Dixon. He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife and friend, Brenda; loving daughter Lisa LeClaire and husband Frank; wonderful mother, Mary E. Dixon; grandchildren, Tyler Gusmus and children and Faith Truman who loved their Papa D.; sister, Peggy Jean Hicks; nieces and nephews Rodney Hicks and family, Anita Lobst and family, Randy Dixon and family and Mark Dixon and family. Friends and family will be received at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home, 5315 Kingston Pike on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM.
