BLACKWELL, Geneva Grace, age 72 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2015. She was employed by Hyatt Regency for 32 years and also Dyke Industries for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd W. Blackwell, Jr. and her parents, Clarence and Bertie Latham. She is survived by her daughters, Jody C. Blackwell and Penny Blackwell Scott; grandchildren, Jake, Ian, Jese, Mary Kay, Rocky, and Tara; siblings, Dorothy Miracle, Edgar Latham; several other nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Family will receive friends at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on September 3, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on September 4, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. and proceed to Caledonia Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
