ADD A MEMORY
Francis & Ray Stalsworth

Granny (Francis) and Daddy (Ray) both have interesting memories of Geneva.
Granny’s first memory of Mamaw was when They were much younger people. There was a storm coming and Mamaw gathered many children into her home for shelter. Granny and her siblings were some of those children.

Many years later Daddy Married Cindee. Daddy and Mamaw shared many of life’s moments. As a s-i-l Ray had many laughs with Mamaw. His funniest/shocking moment was when his children called mamaw the wicked witch of the west.
After a two year banishment and many more years later, Mamaw told her story and laughed about it all. She was at Rays funeral and loved him as much as she loved everyone.
Today we celebrate terms of endearment and the love they are said with.

Wynter Wylla

October 12, 2019

Mamaw Neva loves the little red haired girls. Wynter and Wylla love to go in character.
Wynter sharks the scene while Mermaid Wylla eyes the softness of the mamaw skin.

Actually they are feral and Wylla is measuring and Wynter waits to chomp. Mamaw just loves the feral Gingers and they love her right back.

My Mamaw’s many gifts to me were about love. The one that has carried me the furthest was the love of words.
This love has inspired me to look and listen for only the best of words. Mamaw loved words too. Words like light and home and their various synonyms.

My mamaw also gifted me the experience of diversity. Her home was open to many foster children. Each child was unique and each one found the same shelter of love. Her family had diversity as well. Papaw and Mamaw and their daughter Judy adopted two girls, Cindee and Marsha. The 3 sisters went on to have family of their own. Each of them unique and each of them knowing the same love.

I love my Mamaw. Forever.
