Heartbroken to hear Dr. Kincaid has passed. Heartbroken to learn that he and his family had suffered through the loss of a child! Dr. Kincaid was warm, yet professional. Kind, yet dignified. He was my Dr. for close to 20 years. His dedication and knowledge unmatched in my experience. Advice though rare, was priceless. Just as example, I had had an irritating pain for as long as I could remember. It would come and go. I shared it with him one day. He listened carefully and  after consideration, suggested that my colon was twisting and then popping back. He was correct! It had gone on  for such a long time with no one knowing what it was.  I skipped a year,  and when I called, he had retired. I will always wish I had not missed that appointment and that I could have told him thank you, and goodbye for now. So, thank you Dr. Kincaid, most Sincerely. I hope you are one of the first people I see on the other side.

I was referred to Dr Kincaid 41 years ago for the birth of  my daughter in 1984 by cesaraen. Dr Kincaid also performed two subsequent surgeries that were successful as well. He was always so sweet and kind and always took the time, whether it was 5 or 20 minutes,  to sit and discuss any questions I had or explanations I needed.  He loved his profession which was evident in the way he served his patients...and I adored his sense of humor.  During my last appointment with him, he told me he wouldn't be there the next year because his daughter was ill and he and his wife were moving to Texas to be with her. I was heartbroken for them and for myself to lose such a precious and compassionate doctor.  I'm, yet again, heartbroken to just learn tonight (01/11/24) of Dr Kincaids passing. Rest in blissful peace, Dr Kincaid, you will always be missed.

My condolences  to the family. He will be very missed. He had been my Dr for over 35 years. Throught my 2 deliveries and surgery.he was very respected in his field and  his I thought the world of him. I do remember  the last visit with him he thanked  me for letting  him be my physician  all these years. The following  year I called for appointment  and he wasn't there. This left me very sad.
 I continued  to ask about him very visit. I was shocked to hear of his passing.  God bless his family.
     

Dr. Kincaid made the world a better place.  His passion for his calling was evident.  He was my doctor for over 35 years.  He brought both of my daughters into this world by C-Section and had a way about him that brought calmness and laughter into a room just by being present.  He was so highly respected and you could tell that his staffed thought the world of him.  He actually did two more surgeries on me throughout the years and I had total confidence in him.  One of the last times that I saw him, he thanked me for sticking with him throughout all of the years and allowing him to be my doctor.  When I called back for another appointment, I was saddened to hear that he had retired, partly because I had no idea who I would go to, but mostly because I didn't have the chance to tell him goodbye and  say thank you.  My prayers will be with you all.

This saddens me. He was an amazing doctor and an even better person. He was my physician as well as a previous employer. I watched how he cared for his patients when working with him and  knew I'd be in great hands!  Condolences to his family.

I was saddened to hear about Dr Kincaid. I appreciated the thoughtful and kind care I received from him for over 25 years. He was very conscientious of the trust his patients put in him and I always felt he went above and beyond to do everything possible to make sure that his patients stayed healthy and informed. He delivered our son and shared in one of the most cherished moments in our life. I’m grateful for his dedication and care and will always remember that big smile he greeted you with. I am so saddened to learn of Dr. Kincaid’s passing. He was my doctor from age 20 until he left his practice in Knoxville (about 41 years total). Even though I moved from Knoxville in 2005, I continued to drive about 3 hours for my annual appointments because of the care Dr. Kincaid provided me. He was attentive, caring, kind, and a wonderful physician. He helped me through several challenges. I can still picture his grin and remember his advisement on my last visit which was shortly before he left his practice. My thoughts and prayers are with his family 

Dr. Kincaid was caring and very patient. He was on call the night we delivered our daughter.  We did not meet until that night. His schedule and ours never meshed. My doctor was his partner, J David Owen.  All the doctors and staff in their physicians group were very good.  After our daughter arrived, he asked her name and then asked if he could hold her. Something about her name was special to him.  He was wonderful and very kind to a new, nervous mom. Praying for his family, Cheryl Sharp

So sorry to hear this. He was a special doctor. He delivered  my son , forty years ago. Which was awsome.  I had seen Dr. Owens my whole  pregnancy  he was out of town. So Dr. Kincaid delivered  my son. Our last name just so happens  to be Kincaid. So Kincaid delivered  Kincaid. God bless his family and friends. 

Dr. Kincaid was a godsend to me during the entire pregnancy I had with my daughter. He also happened to be on call during the night of my delivery, and talked me through my contractions on the phone (those same contractions that when I was 35+ weeks pregnant and asked him how I would know I was in labor… he looked at me with that smirk and said “what kind of question is that? You will know!”). Well, I sure knew early morning of August 17 and when I called him telling him I was in labor and that my uterus felt like it was on fire he said , “well, come on in.” Apparently his nickname according to our nurse was “Rocketman” due to his quick deliveries and that day, I found out why it was such a miracle to have Rocketman on our side. My daughter was born with her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck twice and he noticed that almost immediately after she started to crown. He acted so swiftly (remaining ever calm and collected),  pulled her out, and unwrapped the cord before I knew what was going on. He looked up at my daughter’s father and said “sorry, dad” and then allowed her father to cut the cord after he was able to check my daughter’s vitals. Dr. Kincaid was probably the most brilliant, caring, and proactive medical professional I have ever met and I sing his praises every chance I get to tell others about how God placed him in my family’s life at the perfect time. He will always hold a special place in my heart and I will keep his family in my prayers. 

Dr. Kincaid delivered my 2nd daughter.  At the time (1990) he was in practice with J. David Owen and Lionel McCollum.  Dr. McCollum delivered my 1st daughter and Dr. Owen delivered my 3rd daughter.  I have fond memories  of Dr. Kincaid.  May he rest in peace! 

It’s heartbreaking to hear this news about dr Kincaid.  He was my dr for 20 + years . Delivered both my children. Never met another  dr like him. He was kind and truly cared  about his patients. He actually took time after he delivered my babies to make sure myself and my children were doing well before he went on to his next patient . 
My heart goes out to the  family as you go through this terrible loss of such a wonderful person. 


I'm so sorry to hear of Dr. Kincaid's passing.  He was a very dedicated doctor who helped me through a very  difficult pregnancy.  I know  he sacrificed time with his family  during this time.  My prayers are with his family. 

Dr Kincaid saved my life in 1983 by discovering a mass that was the size of a five month baby while I was 9 weeks pregnant. He also saved the life of the daughter I was carrying and delivered her in March of 1984. He was a loving, caring and great doctor.  He left a legacy that will be remembered. So sorry to hear of his passing.  He was a great Doctor.  He delivered my son 36 years ago and delivered my grandson  3 years ago. He was  a kind and very understanding man. That was my favorite Doctor.  God bless the family.  God has a very special angel now. Prayers for the family. 

Dr. Kincaid was a very special caregiver.  He truly cared about his patients and figured out my many issues.  My girls and I were devastated when he retired.  Thoughts and prayers to his family and he leaves a wonderful legacy.  He will be missed.🙏🙏

I cannot express the sorrow I feel at Dr. Kincaid's passing.  He was my doctor for over 30 years and was, by far, the most caring and considerate physician I have ever had the privilege to know. When I learned of his retirement I was devastated and now am just heartbroken.  God's Peace and sincere sympathy to his family, especially Bonita who I had the privilege to meet when Dr. Kincaid had his private practice.  Rest in Peace dear friend.

Prayers for the family. He literally saved my life after I delivered my son 8.5 years ago. I will never forget it. He even came back to check on me the day after my surgery when he wasn’t even on call. A wonderful physician.

Though not in the same group, we worked alongside each other for many years.  He was a passionate advocate for patients and for doing the right thing.  I am glad I got the chance to know him at least a little.

Dr. Kincaid was my doctor from the time that I was 18 years old, I am now 61.  He delivered both of my children now 32 and 29. He was the best doctor, and I'm so sad to hear of his passing. My prayers to the family who live on to cherish his memories and his great work.

I had the privilege of working with Dr. Kincaid for several years - mainly at the West Office.   He was a gentle, kind and great man with a wicked sense of humor.    I know he will be sorely missed by family, friends and patients.    My thoughts are with Bonnie and family at this very sad time.

I was a patient of Dr Kincaid and he was so kind and funny.  He had an infectious smile that lit up the room. A life well lived and an advocate for his patients like none other. 

Dr. Kincaid was the first physician I worked for after graduating  the medical assistant program. I will forever be grateful for working alongside such a wonderful provider. He always showed true care and compassion for his patients. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family during this time. 

I worked with Dr. Kincaid at Fort Sanders for years. He was always kind and a pleasure to work with. I remember his smile. I was so sorry to hear of his passing.  May he rest in peace. I will keep his loved ones in my prayers.

Dr. Kincaid was one of the finest doctors I have worked with. He was a wonderful person, and his kindness to everyone around him was so appreciated. Prayers of peace and comfort for his family and friends. 

Geoffrey was a superb physician and a fierce advocate for the well- being of his patients.  We have not been in touch in the past 5 years or so since I retired.  I had many enjoyable and enlightening conversations with him over the years.  My sincere condolences to the family.
