George (Eddie) Baker born January 2, 1947, passed away June 26, 2018. Preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Mary E. Baker. He worked for Robert Shaw for 23 years. He had a long battle with lung disease, by his side his wife, Betty of 46 years. Children, Barry and his wife Tracy, and Brian. Grandchildren Casey, Samantha and her husband Dustin, Reece, Chloe, and Aiden. Great grandchildren, Marshall and Damien. Sister, Martha McDonald. Several nieces and nephews and cousins. Receiving family and friends at Berry Highland West at 9913 Sherrill Boulevard, Thursday from 6-7 pm with funeral to follow at 7:00 pm, Dr. Jeff Sledge Officiating. Graveside services will be Friday at 10:00 am at Berry Highland West. Pallbearers: Danny, Donnie, and Mark Haun, James Lawhorn, Casey Lee, and Jimmy McDonald.
