George Carroll Berry age 88 of Knoxville passed away November 19, 2021. He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army. George retired from Royal Crown Cola Co and the Knox County Sheriff Department. He was preceded in death by parents, William and Mary Berry; wife, Anna (Reed) Berry and 2 sisters. George is survived by son, Jeff Berry; special sister-in-law, Carolyn Pratt; nieces, Janet Wardell, Debbie Forrester, Patti Veals, Lisa Keeler, Stacy Thomas and Kim Horner. The family wants to give a special thank you to the staff at Island Home Health & Rehab for their love and care. A call at convenience will be Tuesday November30, 2021 at Berry Funeral Home from 12-5 p.m. Graveside service will be Wednesday December 1, 2021 at10:00 a.m. at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Gov. I was so sorry to learn of George's passing. This family has been a joyful part of my life for many, many years. I will miss George's sassy spirit but I am so thankful for the hope we have in Christ to see him again. Sending prayers and love to Jeff and all the family.
