FLYNN, GEORGE ALBERT - age 78 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully Monday, April 11, 2011 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a member of Ball Camp Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Dewey and Cecil Flynn, brothers Bob, Jack, Harold, and Mitchell, nieces Sherry Flynn and Shelley Flynn. Survived by brothers Dwight and wife Barbara, Lowell and wife Betty, sister Trula Beazley, sister-in-law Doris Flynn, many nieces, and nephews, special friends Joe Tenpenny, the Binkley Family, Ona Lee Scalp, and Rupert and Kathy Osborne. Family will receive friends 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Ball Camp Baptist Church with service to follow at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Ed Sunday Winter officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45 a.m. Friday at Highland West for a 10:00 a.m. interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ball Camp Baptist Church Prime Timers, or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
