He was preceded in death by his parents, George Leroy Fooshee and Nancy Kefauver Fooshee; brother-in-law, Gray Haun; and cousin, Lindsay Kefauver. George is survived by his sister, Nancy Elizabeth Fooshee Haun; cousin, Bill Tollett and several other cousins.
A private interment will take place in the Fooshee family plot at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery in Bearden.
George was keenly interested in current events and was recently concerned about the Ukraine getting enough aid to defend sovereignty. In lieu of flowers, donations to aid the Ukraine can be made online at https://crisisrelief.un.org/t/ukraine.
