Dearest Herbold Family:

I know I don't have to tell any of you how incredibly special you dad was. I am forever grateful to him for being a part of the Fantastic Duo that took care of first my Lola and then for taking such good care of my Tessa (or "Tessie" as he called her). I loved going to pick her up so I would have time to sit with George and listen to all the antics of Tessa and witness their special bond. She had him very well trained. The kindness with which he treated me and both of my puppies was something I will never forget and will forever cherish. I remember our last visit at Shannondale and how I was so amazed at how George just continued to be George by knowing all the staff's names and having a rapport with each. He was so special, so interested in everyone, and such an amazing family man. I am grateful to have known him.

Much love-
Stephanie and Tessa
