I was shocked to hear about George. I know this is a very difficult time for you. I was unable to attend the service but have you in my thoughts and prayers. We will need to talk soon, maybe over a Tastycake.

George was so much fun. He used to tell me stories on my uncle Ed Bailey and we'd laugh out loud.  I was blessed to have served George for insurance for 15 years. I will miss George.

I met George in 1977 seemingly a very long time ago.  I had no idea that I would ultimately be a small part of his family by marrying a niece of his some twelve years later.  George never failed to bring a laugh to my life no matter what the circumstances and he was always willing to lend a hand to whomever so needed one.  My very first memories of George are ones that he created by helping people that I knew at that time that desperately needed his help and he was more than willing to give it as usual.  The more I learned about George I found more and more that his life was about his service to others no matter what the personal expense.
Later marrying in to the family I was greeted with open arms and he was always willing to give advice or a helping hand at any time.  I considered George more than just an Uncle by marriage, he was a good friend and one that will be missed more than I can say.
Barbara you, Bill and the rest of the family have my most dedicated and sincere sympathy at this time of loss in your lives.  This was a devastating loss to anyone who truly knew George and could call him a friend simply because friends like George, I am sorry to say, are very hard to come by.  Please know that you are in my and Elaine's prayers everyday.
