George A. Rachel, age 82, of Seymour, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He was a hardworking heavy equipment Mechanic and member of the 150 Operating Engineers Union. George loved life, his dogs and spending his time outdoors cooking and entertaining friends and family. In his spare time, you could often find George with a wrench in his hand working on projects for them as well. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. George is preceded in death by parents Phillip and Jo Lottie Rachel; brothers Louis Rachel and Ronnie Rachel and sister Grace Forbus. He is survived by wife of 65 years Faye Rachel; children Kim (Pat) Lagone and Georgia (John) Novelli; grandchild George (Mari) Lagone; great-grandchildren Vivian and Vincent; brother Bill Rachel and nephew John Forbus.
