Gerald Creech

L. Gerald Creech, 84, of Knoxville, TN, passed away April 21, 2024. Gerald grew up in Pennington Gap, VA, and after serving in the 101st Army Airborne Division, moved to Knoxville where he ran a successful insurance business and raised a family with his wife Diane. Gerald was active in Sertoma and other charities. He loved competitive games like bocce and cards. He was a great cook who loved sharing meals and time with his family. He is survived by his daughter Allison, SIL/card -buddy Brian, grandkids Madison and Mason, his son Jonathan, grandchildren Owen and Vietta, as well as his brother Jim Creech (Mary Lynn, Matthew and Natalie) and sister Gail Eddy. We will immensely miss this adventurous, fun-loving man and all the goodness he brought to our lives. A Celebration of Life will be held at Weaver Funeral Home Saturday, April 27 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Graveside to be held at Lee Memorial Gardens, Pennington Gap, VA Saturday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your own favorite charity or enjoy dinner, cards or games with your loved ones.
