Hair, Geraldine Boots, age 82, of Knoxville, met Jesus Thursday, March 1, 2012. Geri was a dedicated mother who loved and was loved. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Geri was preceded in death by parents, Silas L. and Mary Vanwinkle; husband, Clay C. Hair; son, Gary Lee Caldwell; brothers, Clyde and Floyd Vanwinkle. She is survived by six loving children; 19 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren; brother, Ben Vanwinkle; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends, Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy., from 6-8:00 p.m. The service will follow at 8:00 p.m., with Rev. Dewey Caldwell officiating.
