I first met Glenda at Choices Resource Center where we both volunteered. She was an excellent nurse at the center and her heart was for the girls that came there. She said that maybe we were the only people that would listen to them when they were in a situation that they were afraid to talk to anyone else about. Glenda once told me that she did not have children of her own and she was going to be there for these girls at the center because she truly believed that this is one place God had wanted her to be. She was so kind and thoughtful of other people. She will be missed very much. Love you, Glenda.

We have been friends since entering nursing school in 1965. You were one of my bridesmaid. I remember you stepped on my veil which we laughed about for a long time. The last few years have been very hard and challenging for you, but I never heard you complain at all. You were almost always very upbeat. I remember how you told me you were "sorta" finally going to get a baby at 65 when Patrick came along. How you loved him. I hope he will always remember that. I will miss you and always think of you. Love you.

I first met Glenda when we went on a mission trip to Romania and Russia as she was my roommate. We have been friends since that time especially through Choices Resource Center activities. She always had a smile and a kind word. She will be greatly missed.

I didn't know Miss Glenda long but she always had a smile on her face in the face of her battle. I am glad I knew her.

When I first entered UTMRCH School of Nursing in the Fall of 1966, I met Glenda Jo for the first time. She was assigned to be my "Big Sister" and mentor throughout my time in the program but she also became a great friend. Even in our retirement we kept in touch through the Nurses Alumni Society. Eternal rest Grant unto her O Lord, and let Perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and The Souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace. Amen.

I was priviledged to go on several mission trips with Glenda. We worked well together, and she was a pleasant friend. She will be missed.
