Glenford S. Hutchins, 91, of Seymour, Tennessee departed this life on June 30th, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee after months of health struggles and was immediately made whole again in the presence of Almighty God. Glen was a member of First Baptist Church Seymour, a devoted Christian, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend to all who knew him, having never met a stranger. A lifelong Free Mason, He was a passionate person who always put family first. Glen loved the Vols, travel in later years, and to work around the house, especially if it involved anything with his beloved Grandchildren.
Glenford S. Hutchins was born to George and Zada Hutchins on July 24th, 1934 and is preceded in death by his loving parents, his devoted wife, Judy Hutchins; brothers, Charles and Robert and son Steven Todd.
He is survived by his loving children, David Hutchins and Wife Kayce, Tony Burress, and Gary Wayne Hutchins; grandchildren: Matthew McKellar, Isaiah, Braelynn and Liam Hutchins, Victoria Hutchins and Katie Hickman, Cory Hutchins and Callie Simms, Brother Jerry; sister Louise Waggoner, as well as an overwhelming number of nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law and a vast extended family.
A Funeral Service followed by a graveside will be held at Berry Highland Memorial funeral Home, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919, on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
