GLENN WILLIAM CARVER, JR., age 94 of Knoxville, passed away June 5, 2016. He was born September 1, 1921 to the late Glenn and Mona Bozeman Carver. Glenn belonged to St. John’s Lutheran Church. He graduated from Old Knoxville High School in 1940. After graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was in the Instruments Division. After service he worked as a machinist at Myers-Whaley Shoveling Machine Co. until his retirement. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Carver Ingalls; brothers-in-law, Granville Ingalls and Ralph V. Gwinn; niece, Susan Gwinn Hinton. Surviving him is sister, Dorothy (Dot) Carver Gwinn. Nieces, Dianne Sebby Turner, Sara Sebby Nichols and Marti Gwinn Starnes.
