Dear Ebby, Chitra, Geetha and family:
We are truly sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved wife and mother. We have fond memories of the times at the July 4th retreats with Dr. Kamaleson when our kids were young. We remember your generous hospitality in hosting us when we were heading to Gatlinburg after our wedding many years back. We praise the Lord for Ratni’s life, testimony and legacy. We thank the Lord for His drawing her to her heavenly home, and rest in the sure assurance that we have of being reunited with loved ones who died ‘in Christ’.
May the God of all comfort give you His peace and comfort during this time of grief.

Ratni was one of our earliest and longest connected international students from her time at OSU. We remember her fondly and are grateful for her impact on our lives. She won't be forgotten. My condolences to all of her family.

Some of my most memorable childhood memories include Ratni Auntie in them .  She had a generous heart that was extended freely to anyone that needed it. I was lucky to have had a conversation with her just before she passed. Being able to say I loved her was a true gift. I will miss you, Auntie.

Ratni was so much more than a dear friend to our family. She was like an older sister to me, and to all of us, she was someone whose love and warmth we will always remember.
We shared so many important moments, both big and small. We will always remember proudly celebrating Chitra’s graduation from Duke, the first college graduation our family had the joy of attending. Geetha’s beautiful wedding and reception was another very memorable celebration for us.
Ratni had impeccable taste and an incredible sense of style. She held herself and everything around her to the highest standards, yet she always made people feel completely welcome in her home and comfortable in her presence. Her warmth and generosity were evident in everything she did. We have so many cherished memories of the Christmas parties and countless other gatherings she hosted over the years. She had a special way of bringing people together and making everyone feel valued and included.
We will miss Ratni deeply, but we feel incredibly fortunate to have had her in our lives and to have shared so many years, traditions, celebrations, and memories with her. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, generosity, graciousness, and hospitality. She was truly one of a kind.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ebby, Chitra, Geetha, and the entire family during this difficult time.

RATNI and Ebby were the Indian friends we came to know when we moved to Knoxville,TN 35+ years ago.
She was one of the pillars on India Christian fellowship which started in her house 33 years ago. She was one of the great Christians we had privilege of calling as dear friend. She was a great inspiration to us as well to many non Christian friend who attended ICF.
We have been praying for her health since we were made aware of her recent health issues. However our Lord had better plans for her. “ absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”.
We are praying for Ebby, Geetha and Chitra and their families. 
We will miss her dearly.

Rathni my cousin but also a good friend was a vibrant person who influenced my  childhood & teen years  with her unwavering faith, &  bold & courageous stand for God. She motivated us all to live as testimony to Gods wonderful compassion & redemptive power . She tirelessly prayed for her family near & far.  Generous in her time, in her encouragement and love towards us in so many ways! We will miss her dearly in this earthly life but rejoice with her as she rejoices in heaven with her dear Lord! 
May the comfort & love of God surround her sisters, brother, her children and their family and sustain them in the knowledge that you will be with them as you have been with her.

Dear Ebby, Chitra, and Geetha,
Our hearts ache with yours over the loss of dear Ratni. We have been profoundly blessed to know your wonderful family for more than 60 years. During that time, we shared graduations, weddings, anniversaries, the births of grandchildren, and many other occasions that created lasting memories. Ratni was a devoted wife and loving mother who gave herself unconditionally to her family. For many years at the Indian Christian retreats in Dayton, Ohio, she worked alongside Molly, registering and welcoming guests with a smile and a hug.
She loved the Lord and was a devoted student of God’s Word, often sharing thoughtful and meaningful insights into Scripture. She served her church in various roles and contributed her time support to several parachurch organizations. She was also a steadfast supporter of missions and gospel outreach.
Her granddaughters, Olivia and Talia, were her pride and joy and brought great fulfillment to her life. Her sons-in-law, Robby and Les, gave unwavering strength and support to Ebby, Chitra, and Geetha throughout her battle with cancer and in her final days. Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies are with them all. We especially grieve with Ebby in his profound loss. He was her loving husband and steadfast lifelong companion.
We hold fast to the promise of John 14:18: “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
