Mr. Johnson joined Hines Valley Baptist Church to have memberships in same locations as his wife.
He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Haston and Allie Johnson and brother, Hugh Johnson. Also, daughter, Linda Rose Huddleston,and preceded in death by his son-in-law, John Paul DeRepentigny.
He is survived by his wife Reba Jenkins Johnson; daughter, Mary Beth Kaiser and her husband, Marcus Kaiser; grandchildren, Gabriel and Amanda, Olivia and Mike, Lemuel and Aileen, Glorianna, and Jose.
Mr. Johnson graduated from The University of Tennessee in 1955; BS in business, major in accounting and one year after his graduation, he was called to serve in the U.S. Army. After basic training he was sent to Fort Belfour, VA where he served as an internal auditor. He came home and went to work in the accounting department of Standard Knitting Mills Inc. He held the office of vice president of finance when asked to attend Harvard Graduate Advanced Management Program. He graduated from that program in 1982. He returned and continued working until the Mill closed in December 1989.
He finished his working career as the Comptroller of Becromal of America, Inc. in Clinton TN
Family will receive friends Thursday, at Weaver Funeral Home from 5-7 pm with the service to follow at 7pm. Family and friends will meet Friday, 10:45 am at Marietta Cumberland Presbyterian Church, for an 11am graveside service.
