Thomas, Harley Willard, age 87 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 8, 2015. Harley was a member of Independent Church of Jesus Christ and served as a Deacon. Harley loved to fish. He is preceded in death by parents, Martha and Jess Thomas; grandson, Rex Long; and several brothers and sisters. Harley is survived by wife of 50 years, Barbara Thomas; daughter and son-in-law, Rickie and Jim Heifner; grandson, Keith Heifner; great-grandchildren, Alayna, Amara and Isaac Heifner; brother-in-law, Charles Russell; niece Betsy Gibson. Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 9, 2015, from 6:00-8:00pm at Berry Funeral Home on Chapman Hwy. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 12:00 pm at Independent church of Jesus Christ on Burnett Creek Road. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
