

KELLEY, HAROLD – age 65 of Dandridge,(formerly of Knoxville) lost his courageous battle with Lou Gehrigs Disease on November 28, 2011 surrounded by family and friends. This horrible disease took his ability to talk, swallow, walk and the capability to use his hands, but it could never take away his love for God nor his love for his family and friends. He always had a big smile for everyone who came to visit. Harold retired from Knoxville Utilities Board in 2001 after 26 years of service. He and his wife Sandra were avid fishermen on Douglas Lake and Lake Okeechobee in FL. He also loved to play golf and deer hunt. Preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Edward Kelley, brother Jack Kelley, sister Kathy Baird, mother and father-in-law Mary and Doyle Barnard,brothers-in-law Jerry Barnard and Ronnie Barnard. Survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Sandra Kelley, sisters and brothers-in-law Bobbie (Don) Wooten, Sandy (Eddie) Wilmoth, Joy (Kenny) Franklin, sisters Euwona Brass and Mary Letsinger, brothers and sisters-in-law Joe (Linda) Kelley, Roy (Teresa) Kelley, brother-in-law Troy Baird. In laws, Ken (Erna) Barnard, Harold (Sidney) Barnard, Shirley Barnard, Wilma Sue (Bill) Pointer, several nieces, nephews, and special Godson Hunter long. Harold also leaves behind his special four legged friend, Gi-Gi, a little poodle that loved her daddy so much. Harold and Sandra would like to give special thanks to all their friends, family, and neighbors for being there for them. Giving their time, lending a hand and giving a hug when needed. All of you made a very difficult time a little easier. We hope that God will always bless you, keep you safe and healthy. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 at Weavers with chapel service to follow at 8 pm. Chaplain Tom Baez officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Thursday at Byrds Chapel Cemetery for an 11 am interment. Pallbearers, Hunter Long, Josh Clark, David Kelley, Jesse Pirtle, Brian Noce and Mike Wooten.
