Harold was a Navy Seal (Frog Man) and a long-term member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, Local 102. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He followed all of UT Sports and enjoyed all the grandchildren’s ballgames.
Harold passed away on Labor Day and was certainly a day that he earned to celebrate.
Preceded in death by parents, Coy and Tina Smith; son, Tony Smith; brother, Coy Jr. Smith; and sisters, Evelyn and Judy.
Survived by loving wife of 66 years, Colleen Smith; children, Tuesday (Wallace) Silcox; son, Todd (Brandy) Smith; daughter-in-law, Stacy Smith; sister-in-law, Julia Smith; 8 grandchildren, Andrea Osborne, Curtis Hoskins, Megan Keith, Madison Smith, Jagger Gage Smith, Justin Mynatt, TJ Smith, and Erica Smith; 16 great grandchildren, Nick Osborne, Nathan Harold Osborne, Samantha, Ashleigh, Ava and Emma Hoskins, Addison and Alex, Maddie, Maddox, Bryson, Fallon, Benson, Arianna, Kingston and Sophia; 4 great-great grandchildren, Vivian Skye Osborne and Hazel, Ryleigh and Kash; numerous special nieces and nephews and a wonderful german short-haired pointer, Willow.

A Celebration of Life will be held at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 1-3:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm with family friend, Alex Duig officiating. Condolences may be offered at www.mccartyevergreen.com.
