Harold Dean Tallent

Harold Dean Tallent, age 67, of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Vietnam War. He received three medals. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Tallent. Harold is survived by his parents, Charles and Imogene Tallent; two daughters, Christine Comstock, and Crystal Tallent; brothers, David Tallent and wife Carolyn; Howard Tallent and wife Barbara; niece, Wendy; nephews, Chuck, Tim, and Eric. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff on the fourth floor south at UT Medical Center for their love, care, and concern. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Robert Branch officiating. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM for the interment.
