Harriet Elizabeth Reagan

She retired from the Blount County Schools system, where she fed many Blount County school children throughout the years at Prospect and Porter Elementary schools. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. In her free time, she was an avid quilter and seamstress.

Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, James A. (Ott) Reagan; father, James L. Jeffries; and mother, Mattie Self Jeffries. She is survived by her four children: son, Steve Reagan and wife Betty of Maryville; son, Mike Reagan and wife Janet of Walland; daughter, Sharon Reagan Hood of Seymour; and daughter, Linda Flanagin and husband Ray of Walland. Her eight grandchildren include Brad Reagan, Kristy Sims, Curtis Flanagin, Holly Reagan, Jessica Hood, Samuel Hood, Hannah Reagan, and Sarah Hood. Her three great grandchildren include Tyler Sims, Kenlee Sims, and Mackynzee Howell. Her brother, Charles Hugh Jeffries of Walland, numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces also survive her.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 5:30-7:30 P.M. at Prospect Baptist Church in Walland, with funeral services following at 7:30 P.M. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, December 12, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. Berry Highland South in charge of arrangements. www.highlandmemorialsouth.com.
