Harry was a devoted husband, father, and family man whose presence was deeply cherished. In the steady way he showed up for the people he loved, and in the quiet thoughtfulness of his everyday care, he left a lasting mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him. Hard-working and selfless by nature, he carried responsibility with humility and offered love in practical, dependable ways.
For 25 years, Harry; also known as "Dirty Harry" by his coworkers, was employed by Blalock & Sons, a commitment that reflected his strong work ethic and the pride he took in doing a job well.
Outside of work, Harry found real satisfaction in the simple, meaningful routines of home. He loved to mow the lawn, enjoyed estate sales, and collected neon Bud Light signs. He especially loved working on the property and enjoyed playing on his tractor. Above all, he loved spending time with family and friends—moments that became memories, and memories that will now be held close.
Harry was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Dennis Ayers; his father, Harry Hubert Dennis; his step-father, Charles "Charlie" Ayers; and his sisters, Barb and Carol Jean.
He is survived by his wife, Jade Dennis; his sons, Harry Jr. Dennis (Liberty) and Justin Dennis; his sister, Ruth (Carlos) of Woodsfield, Ohio; his nephews, Kevin (Winnie), Jimmy, Brandon, and Eric; his sister-in-law, Lana Durfee (Dave), and his sister-in-law, Glynis June McDonald (Billy); his nieces, Brittany, Heather, Amber, Evelyn, Vanessa Gaines-Denton, and Amber Hall (Michael) of Manchester, England.
Harry will be remembered with respect and affection—as a beloved and devoted man whose thoughtful ways and steady dedication made life better for those around him.
