Rev. Harry C. Mynatt Sr.

Reverend Harry C. Mynatt, Sr., age 86, went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2015. He pastored several churches in Alabama and was the pastor of Valley Grove Baptist Church from 1980-1999. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Edna Mynatt; brothers, Johnny and Bob Mynatt; sister, Betty Casale; and grandsons, Jody Camp and Jeffrey Mayo. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joyce Wolfe Mynatt; his children, Vickie (Ron) Kennedy, Harry, Jr. (Janise) Mynatt, Nancy (Steve) Rhymes, Jerry Alan Mynatt; grandchildren, Kourtney and Lexon Mayo, Jeremy, Charlee, Alexis and Cory Mynatt, and Katelyn and Amanda Holt; brothers, Jerry R. (Phyllis) Mynatt, and Bill Mynatt. The family would like to thank UT Hospice with a special thanks to Pam Herendon.The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Berry Funeral Home on Chapman Highway, with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m., with Rev.
