She had two fine (loves of her life) offspring, Charlie and Troy, and a husband Troy Sr. of 21 years. As a graduate of Mountain Lakes High School many of you remember the sweet sounds of her singing performances or her competitive nature in sports where she captained the soccer, softball, and basketball teams. In addition achieving All State recognition plus the scholarship for best high school athlete (male or female) while achieving the most improved student award. She continued her education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY, University of Colorado in Boulder, and completed her liberal arts degree in theater and business from Drew University in Madison, NJ. Following graduation Heather settled down in Wharton, NJ and finally in Knoxville (Strawberry Plains), Tennessee.
She is survived by her husband; her two sons; brother, Harry E. Russell IV of Austin, Tx and her mom and dad, Pamela and Harry Russell of Pinehurst, NC.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 21, 2023 between the hours of 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37924.
She is loved and will be sadly missed by all.
