Henry Arthur McMillan, Jr.

McMillan Jr., Henry Arthur “Ott” 57 of Kodak, TN went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 16, 2016. He was a devoted man of God and served as Deacon at Ruggles Ferry Baptist Church. Henry was a hardworking man and loyal employee of Harrison Construction for 25 years. He always spoke highly of his crew from APAC. He loved his family and was a devoted grandfather. Henry is preceded in death by parents, Henry and Clara McMillan Sr.; children, William Arthur and Andy Lynn; sister, Kathy Norman. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 beautiful years; Debbie Ann McMillan; daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Aric Smith of Kodak; grandsons, Caleb Snyder and Jacob Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and church family; special friends, Nancy Covington, Bobby and Janice Barnhill, the Beelers, Gordon Teffeteller, David Lundy. A special thanks to the staff at UT CVICU and also to Ziggy and Charlie Wallin and Justin and Lena Wilson for helping with the grandkids during this trying time. Family will receive friends at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on Ashville Highway Tuesday, January 19th from 5-7pm. Funeral service will take place at Shady Baptist Church Wednesday, January 20th at 2pm with Rev. Greg Jones and Rev. Jimmy Chamberlain officiating.
