Herbert Wayne Sparks

Sparks, Herbert Wayne, age 77 Powell, TN. passed away June 9th, 2017 at his home. He was co-owner of the Snow White Restaurant in Oak Ridge for over 20 years. Herbert loved to farm and was a true farmer at heart. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by wife; Nora Sparks; son, Herbert Wayne, Jr. parents Samuel and Bessie Sparks; brothers; I.A., Frank, Tom, John, Junior and Fritts Sparks Sister Louise Tinch. Survived by sons; Victor (Sharon) Sparks, Jerry (Shawnee) Sparks and Samuel Layman Sparks daughter Marilynn (Todd) Mynatt, brothers; Bill (Celia) Sparks, and Jim (Louise) Sparks, numerous grandchildren and great children. Family will receive friends Monday June 12th. from 6:00-8:00PM with a chapel service to follow at 8:00PM with Rev. Bryan Hair officiating at Weavers Funeral Home.
