Carpenter, Heyser Denvil –age 82 of Rockford, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Heyser retired from Northwest Airlines. He was a member and elder at Clark’s Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by parents, Clay and Mary Carpenter; wife, Verna (Edwards) Carpenter; brothers, Ivan and Fletcher Carpenter. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Garry Ivens, Lisa Anne and Richard Russell; grandchildren, Maria Russell, David (Ashlee) and Joshua Ivens; great-grandson, Chance Russell; brother and sister-in-law, Burlin and Cleo Carpenter; and sister-in-law, Bernice Edwards. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon-2:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2013, in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev.
