Hite Jackson Sanford Jr.

Hite Jackson Sanford Jr. entered the Kingdom of Heaven on September 30, 2025. Jack was born on December 2, 1947 and spent most of his life in the Island Home community. He married Judy Seay, his high school sweetheart in 1967 and together they raised their sons, Hite J. Sanford III (Donna) and Chad Sanford.

Jack was a proud grandfather to two granddaughters Shawnna Sanford Fain (Dustin) and Savanna Sanford, as well as two great-grandchildren, Fielder and Finley Fain, whom he cherished deeply. He was also close to his sister-in-law Alice Clarke and his two nephews Darin and D’Vaughn Clarke. Jack was known for his work as the managing partner of the former East Tennessee Bonding Company and later owner of Sanford & Sons Bail Bonds. He was respected in his profession and known for treating everyone with kindness and respect.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital or the ASPCA.

The family is honoring Mr Sanford's request to have a private graveside service.
