NORMAN, HOMER B. – age 94 of Knoxville, formerly of Powell Station, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014. He was a member of Norwood United Methodist Church and an Army veteran of WWII. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruby L. Norman; parents, Matt and Bessie Norman; brothers, Clifford (Ossie) Norman, Cecil (Sally) Norman, Connie (Orbell) Norman and Glenn (Mildred) Norman; sister, Edith (W.A.) Roop. Survived by son, John (Linda) Norman; granddaughter, Allison “Ali” Norman and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12-2 pm Friday in Weaver’s chapel with service to follow at 2 pm. Rev. Bob Ruth officiating. Family and friends will meet at Bell’s Campground Cemetery following service for interment. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Norwood United Methodist Church.
