Hoyt "Bill" William Jordan

January 04, 1939 – May 14, 2024

Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha “Lou” Jordan, grandson Michael Jordan; granddaughter, Paige Jordan and great grandchildren, Crystal, Alorah, Ember, Nicholas, brother-in-law Eddie Monroe (Lee), sisters-in-law Mae Henry, Brenda Mueller, special friends Bob and Glois Bruce, brother Tommy Jordan.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Hoyt and Bea Jordan, brother Robert “Bobby” Jordan, children Randall “Randy” Jordan and Barbara “Barbie” Jordan.

Bill was born January 4, 1939 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee where he attended Fulton High School graduated with the class of 1957. After high school Bill went to work for Rogers Concrete where he was a foreman. He married the love of his life November 8, 1959. After he retired from Rogers he started a family construction business where he worked with his son for many years.

Bill was a great provider for his family; a loving husband, father, papaw, great papaw; a true role model to many and a friend to many more. Bill enjoyed playing Rook and other card games, and working on old cars. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery at 12:45 pm for a 1:00 pm graveside service.
