Hugh F. Beeler, age 92, passed away peacefully December 26, 2015 surrounded by his family. Hugh was a World War II Army Air Corp veteran and served in the European Theatre as an Ammunition’s Clerk. He was of the Baptist faith. Hugh was passionate about U.T. football and carried his pocket radio so he would never miss a game. Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ethel; son, Allen Beeler; and seven brothers and sisters. Survived by sons, William M. Beeler Sr., Dean (Cheryl) Beeler; daughter, Mary (Greg) Hickman; sisters, Edna Shoffner and Georgia Miller; nine grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren, three great-greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, December 28, 2015 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home followed by a procession to Mt. Olive Cemetery for interment.
