Brown, Iola K. – age 90 of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Friday, September 25, 2015. Iola worked as a calutron operator in Oak Ridge, TN during World War II while her husband was serving overseas in the US Army. Iola was a passionate cook, who enjoyed nothing more than being with her family. Iola was preceded in death by her husband, Edward (Bud) Brown. She is survived by son, John Ed Brown; grandsons, Kevin Brown and Tyler Brown; granddaughter, Farrah James and husband, Jeff. The family will receive friends Monday, September 28, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Berry Funeral Home at 10:45 am to travel in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service.
