Irene Helen Riehn

Irene H. Riehn, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 23, 2026, from natural causes. She was surrounded by her devoted husband, many of her children, and her beloved grandchildren. Irene was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Irene was born on September 15, 1939. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ronald Riehn; her sister, Josephine (Babe) Ciecierski; her daughters, Lynn Beeler and Pam Weston; her sons, Donald Isakson, Robert Isakson, and Kevin Riehn; and her stepdaughter, Carrie Riehn. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Rolland Riehn.

Together, Irene and Ronald built a large and loving family that includes grandchildren Josh, Brandon, Felicia, Hannah, Ronnie, Cindy, Sean, Sara, Jessica, Parker, Audree, Oliver, Emmit, Eleanor, and great-grandchild Lucas. Irene and Ron have made their home in Knoxville for more than 50 years, where they became active and valued members of their community.

Irene was dedicated to serving others and was an active member of the West Knox Lions Club alongside her husband. Her kindness, generosity, and commitment to helping those in need left a lasting impact on many lives.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on November 4, 2026, at 5p.m. at Berry Highland West Funeral Home, 9913 Sherrill Boulevard, Knoxville, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the West Knox Lions Club, P.O. Box 70276, Knoxville, TN 37938.

Irene's family will cherish her memory and the love, strength, and compassion she shared throughout her life. Her legacy lives on in the family she treasured and the many friends whose lives she enriched.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932, US, on November 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Committal Service will be held at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932, US, on November 5, 2026, from 8:30 am.
