

Isabel Siler Robinson Edmands born Knoxville on July 26, 1921, passed away December 20th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents John S. and Edith Kennedy Robinson, her husband Lt Col Donald N. Edmands USAF (Ret) and her daughter Hilda Robinson Edmands Mang. She attended Knoxville High School and the University of Tennessee where she was a Majorette (1939-40). She graduated from the University of North Carolina where she was Drum Major (1942-43). She and her husband Don lived in France, Okinawa, and six states during his Air Force career. They lived in Nashville for 35 years after Don's retirement. She moved to The Neighborhood in Tellico Village in 2005. She served as President of the Tennessee Federation of Women's Clubs and as President of Southeastern Region of General Federation of Women's Clubs. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution for over 60 years. She traveled extensively throughout her life, well into her 80s. She is survived by children Colonel Don Edmands, Jr., Edith Edmands Cantrell, grandchildren Don Edmands III, Kristen Lentine, David Coradini, Elizabeth Mang, great-grandchildren Chloe Isabella, Canton, and Carlin Edmands, Tyler and Abigail Lentine, and Kennedy, Michael, and Ali Coradini. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Isabel’s honor to The Humane Society or Vonore United Methodist Church. The family will have a Graveside Service on Monday, December 24th at 11:30 am at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
