Jack D. Hill age 83 of Knoxville went to be with his Lord Wednesday, February 24, 2021. He was a former member and Deacon of South Knoxville Baptist Church. In 2000 he joined Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Jack retired from Whirlpool Corporation in 2001.He was preceded in death by parents, J.J and Grace Hill. Jack is survived by wife of 57 years, Kathleen (Stooksbury) Hill; daughters, Sharon (Steve) Sampson and Julie (Don) Maxwell; 3 grandchildren, Seth Maxwell, Hannah Maxwell and Lucas Sampson; sister, Dorothy McDaniel. Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday February 28, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy. Family and friends will meet Monday March 1, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Rev. Charlie McNutt will officiate. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com
